How to Verify Photo Metadata Was Removed
Check the exact exported photo after cleaning instead of assuming that one button or sharing service produced the expected file.
Why this matters
Verification should examine the final file you plan to send, not only the source or an in-app preview.
Metadata is separate from the visible scene. Removing it does not hide faces, addresses, reflections, landmarks or text that appears in the image itself.
Use the narrowest tool that solves the problem
Open the exported copy in a trusted metadata viewer, check location, date, camera and supported EXIF fields, and repeat after the receiving workflow when the risk matters.
